A global brand like Nissan is constantly involved with the continuous improvement and consistency of the brand and image. Nissan is a brand which is striving to grow by expanding the product line-up and the client-base by bringing trendy new cars in both the hot SUV segment as well as in the passenger car segment.
One of the big challenges for a national distributor is to translate the strategic goals from the head-office into successful tactical objectives for the dealer network. Nissan Netherlands has been looking for ways to gain more control over the complete communication palette within her dealerships. The objective was clear; Reach consistency and quality in all the marketing communication activities and channels on a local and regional level within the dealer network.

XEED created and implemented an extranet for the Nissan Dealer (Nissan Drive) where dealers are able to create customised advertisements, based on centrally approved templates. The dealer is able to tailor the ads to the local market situation and even specific customer types. On the other hand, the distributor is able to control the dealership's publications via an advanced approval system and statistical data from the portal. Actually, the complete communication channel offering from DM publications to automatically generated e-mails can be monitored through the workflow manager.

Herewith just a selection of implemented GRIP standard modules:

  • The budget manager, which helps the dealer in tracking his available budget versus the available campaign cost along the year. Per publication, the dealer can see his actual spending and how much is left for the following campaigns.
  • The media calendar helps dealers to get instant insight into the national campaign activities and all the related detailed marketing communication activities. Based on the national campaigns, a dealer can now carefully plan his own activities accordingly. All the publications he produces through the portal are automatically stored in the same campaign overview, which helps to keep the overview.
  • Automated advertising builder, based on media titles and advertising space with direct booking option via media agencies or publishers.

The combined suite of GRIP tools provides the dealers and head office with instant cost and timesavings.
